Abstract
This essay brings Edmund Husserl’s phenomenology of internal time-consciousness into conversation with Karl Barth’s theology of revelation, comparing their accounts of the consciousness of the present moment and asking what phenomenology can contribute to understanding revelation as an event in the present.
