Abstract
This article examines the roles of common and particular grace in Abraham Kuyper’s theology of science. For Kuyper, common grace preserves the created order and makes scholarship possible across confessional lines, while particular grace gives rise to a distinctively Christian science. The article explores how these two forms of grace together form a canopy under which Kuyper situated the scientific enterprise.
